Cosmos Aromática Internacional, a Spanish leader in the development of flavours for the food industry, with more than half a century of experience in the Beverage, Bakery and Dairy products sectors, needs to incorporate, due to the company’s international expansion, an Export Area Manager for the North Africa market.

Mission

The Export Area Manager:

– Is responsible for the promotion, sale, and distribution activities of the company’s products in the assigned markets.

– Determines the best distribution channels for the products in each country and establishes them.

– Collaborate in the preparation and execution of the Sales Strategic Plan. Implement the policies and sales activities defined in it.

– Leads the sales activity of the company in the assigned markets, establishes sales forecasts and supervises their development.

– Is responsible for the correct execution of administrative activities related to sales (rates, forms of payment, customs formalities, import licenses, international transports…).

Functions

– Review and follow-up of the Sales Strategic Plan.

– Carry out the sales management of the client portfolio and geographic areas assigned by the Sales Management.

– Meet the needs of the client and make sales visits necessary for it.

– Manage and supervise the activity of distributors.

– Find and get new customers who can be satisfied with our products due to quality, price, service, or innovation.

– Opening of new markets according to company objectives.

– Analysis of the competition in the different markets.

– Manage clients orders and ensure an excellent service.

– Present offers and samples to clients and follow-up them.

– Follow-up of the clients’ orders and/or needs for both new projects, samples, orders, and possible complaints from them.

– Make proposals for new developments according to the needs expressed by the market and clients.

– It is the link between the market and the rest of the company’s areas, mainly the Technical Department.

Requirements

– Technical academic education of Higher Degree in sciences (Chemical Engineering or similar) and complemented with International Trade.

– Availability to travel, at least 50% of the time.

– Experience in a similar position of at least five years.

– Essential command of the French language.

– English and Arabic will be an advantage.

– Knowledge of computer programs (Office and other systems) and Navision.
